Jens Meier

Jens is an aviation professional with over twenty years significant industry experience ranging from instructing to several post holder positions during his career.

In 1997 Jens joined Cimber Air on the ATR -300/-500, flying charter and domestic routes throughout Denmark and Germany, on behalf of Cimber, Scandinavian Airlines and Lufthansa.

In 2008 Jens augmented his experience base becoming an instructor/examiner on the ATR and later ascended to the role of Chief Flight Instructor within Cimber Sterling – He was appointed Deputy Chief Pilot in Cimber A/S in 2012.

During 2013 an opportunity to assist Jet-time was presented to Jens and he assisted them to integrate the ATR 72-600 in to its fleet in the capacity of Chief Flight Instructor. The ATR 72-600 fleet at Jet-time operated for Scandinavian Airlines.

By 2016 Jens had acquired a significant amount of experience within airline/training management roles and furthered his experience by becoming a Captain within Scandinavian Airlines on the CRJ900 – which augmented his experience base with jet/turbine operations.

Since 2018, Jens has been able to use his broad experience base worldwide to assist, and support, new ATR operators with training needs and expertise.
